The Opportunity
The Marketing Assistant (MA) is a detail-driven implementor who partners closely with a single Account Manager to ensure client projects move smoothly from intake to completion. This role is designed for someone who thrives on organization, follow-through, and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate is driven to measure and achieve success via Monday.com dashboards and KPIs, passionate about marketing, and confident juggling multiple projects/tasks at once. They bring discernment to know when to escalate questions to the Account Manager — and when to take initiative to resolve smaller issues independently. They lean on AI tools, SOPs, and their own curiosity to deliver client-ready work that’s accurate and on-time.
What You’ll Do
Task Ownership & Accountability
- Manage client tasks from intake to delivery: creation, assignment, follow-up, and completion.
- Keep tasks moving in Monday.com; check boards and dashboards daily to ensure nothing falls behind.Build out tasks tied to scopes of work, quotes, or meeting notes, confirming details with the Account Manager.
- Perform quality checks before delivery: confirm creative brief direction is followed, errors corrected, links functional, and brand guidelines applied.
- Confidently ask the Account Manager for missing information when identified and escalate recurring issues promptly to the Account Manager.
- Ensure all deliverables are “client-ready”: polished, accurate, and aligned with briefs.
Communication, Collaboration & Professionalism
- Provide weekly account updates and keep client agendas current.
- Ask clarifying questions when needed; use discernment to handle low-level requests directly.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and content teams within role boundaries.
- Respond promptly to messages (Slack, email, Monday.com) per AMPED’s Communication SOP.
- Represent AMPED’s values of excellence, reliability, and collaboration.
Process & Organization
- Follow AMPED SOPs, templates, and workflows consistently.
- Keep project management tools and shared folders organized and current.
- Document notes, learnings, and next steps in Monday.com on relevant tasks so work isn’t dependent on memory.
Marketing Tasks
- Support execution of marketing deliverables (blogs, emails, social posts, website updates).
- Maintain familiarity with client platforms to step in on small tasks when needed.
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and creativity.
Technology You Will Be Using
- Monday.com for project and task management

- Google Data Studio for client reporting

- Sprout Social and Hootsuite for social media scheduling

- Mailchimp/Hubspot for client marketing
- DiviBuilder for Wordpress to build websites and manage web content

- Basic marketing knowledge across channels like content, email, WordPress, and social media.
- Proficiency with AI tools to streamline task execution.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep projects on schedule.
- Willingness to ask questions, paired with the confidence to make small judgment calls.
- Internal drive, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset — you “figure it out” when obstacles arise.
- Passion for marketing and excitement to grow within the agency world.

Required Qualifications:
- Fluent English (both spoken and written)
- Available 40 hours per week
- Available to work regularly scheduled hours daily Mon-Fri during Eastern Standard Timezone business hours
- Strong and reliable internet connection
