MARKETING OFFICER

Overseeing customer, accounts growth and products uptake of the Society including:

i. Formulation and implementation of marketing policy and procedures;

ii. Marketing Society’s products and services;

iii. Prepare and Coordinate implementation of media and Public Relation plan to create awareness;

iv. Coordinate marketing seminars and members’ awareness/education;

v. Promote Sacco brand by creating a positive image of the Organization;

vi. Undertaking sales promotion, establishment of market networks for product /services, technical evaluation of customer needs and complaints;

vii. Development and designing of new competitive and customer driven products for the society;

viii. Reviewing performance of other members of staff within the department/unit;

ix. Maintaining contact and relationship between the Society and its existing and potential markets;

x. Gathering market and customer information and ensure at least 99% member retention;

xi. Establishing new markets and recruitment of new members;

xii. Digital marketing, website update and management of social media platforms

xiii. Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements; and

xiv. Any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Appointment to the position will be made from persons who:

i. Are holders of Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized university;

ii. Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience.
