Digital Marketing Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Executive to support and assist in the daily operation of our digital channels. The role will work across a range of projects (agribusiness/food, education, real estate) and therefore effective working relationships will need to be formed with various internal teams, external stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
The Assistant will work hand in hand with the marketing and content leads to plan, produce and create a program of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders. Lead tracking using a CRM system is an essential part of the job. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently/virtually and have experience in digital content creation, professional photography and video production, marketing support, social media management, and CRM systems.

General Information
Position: Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Nairobi (work virtually mostly)
Workdays: Monday to Friday (flexible hours to be agreed upon)
Reporting to: Marketing / Content Lead
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide support across the following areas:
Content Creation:
● Researching relevant industry content and working with the team to build an effective content program
● Taking professional photos and creating/editing images using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.
● Video production, including filming, editing and delivering via channels such as YouTube.
● Participate in writing, editing and proofreading written pieces before publication
● Coordinating and filming interviews
Manage Social Media and Website:
● Coordinating content production
● Scheduling and publishing content
● Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
● Capture, write/produce, publish and push company stories on various platforms
● Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
● Update our websites and social media platforms as needed
● Measure web traffic to content, conversion, etc.
● Tracking resulting leads to feed into the sales pipeline and optimize conversion
Marketing:
● Design digital marketing media e.g. flyers, profiles, and other forms of digital message carriers.
● Responding to customer enquiries on our various platforms of engagement
● Participate in production, scheduling and publishing of newsletters
● Participate in and support other marketing initiatives online.
Job Requirements
● Degree or Diploma in Communication, Media, Journalism, PR and/or Marketing
● 3+ years of experience in digital marketing in an organization with a busy marketing program.
● Experience in photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.
● Experience in video production, including filming, editing and delivering via channels such as YouTube.
● Creative writing and skills, storytelling and high proficiency in English language
● Tech-savvy with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new online platforms and tools.
● Familiarity with SEO
● Fluent across leading social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
● Experience of working with CRM systems
● Must have a reliable internet connection to support virtual work as necessary
