- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
- Oversee daily operations of batching plants to ensure optimal productivity and minimal downtime.
- Ensure efficient scheduling, dispatch, and delivery of concrete products.
- Manage plant maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Implement operational best practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Supervise fleet operations including transit mixers, pumps, and support vehicles.
- Optimize route planning, fuel consumption, and vehicle utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and maintenance standards.
- Manage logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to clients.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and mix design specifications.
- Oversee laboratory testing and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and developers.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and service agreements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance, including cost control, margins, and profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management and operational team.
- Establish clear performance objectives and KPIs across departments.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and workforce planning.
- Champion a strong safety culture across all operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.
- Proven experience managing batching plants, fleet operations, logistics, and quality control functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in client relationship management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior management role.
- Strong operational and strategic management skills
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities
