We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to lead the setup and operations of our new Kenya branch.

- Lead the end-to-end setup of the Kenya branch, including office infrastructure, staffing, and operational systems.
- Establish and maintain compliance with local regulatory, tax, and employment requirements.
- Develop and manage the branch P&L, budgets, and financial forecasting.
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Expand distribution networks across mass markets, modern trade (MT), and e-commerce channels.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs and take corrective actions.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to increase brand visibility and market share. This will be based on agreed targets annually.
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to adapt campaigns for the Kenyan market.
- Manage trade marketing activities, in-store promotions, and POS material deployment.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer insights and opportunities.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for product lines, ensuring alignment between product positioning, target audience, and sales objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure successful market rollouts.
- Provide market feedback on product performance, packaging, and innovation opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
- Liaise with internal departments (HR, Finance, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless operations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a business management or branch leadership role.
- Proven track record in sales growth, market expansion, and product launches in East Africa (Kenya experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of FMCG distribution models, trade marketing, and retail dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking with commercial acumen.
