Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting and audit standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, ensuring prudent financial planning and expenditure control.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, handle reconciliations, and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Track and analyze hospital revenues, expenses, and cost centers to support effective decision-making.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, including timely billing and follow-up of NHIF, insurance, and corporate clients.
- Manage cash flow planning, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and capital projects.
- Prepare and file all statutory returns (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, Withholding Tax) accurately and on time.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.
- Conduct regular financial risk assessments, recommend corrective measures, and support audit processes.
- Provide the hospital management with timely and actionable financial reports for strategic decision-making.
