Internship - Agronomy

we are wholesale and retail suppliers and front desk sellers. We major in agro-based chemicals and public health products;

• Insecticides 
• Fungicides
• Foliar fertilizers 
• Herbicides
• Public health products
• Certified seeds

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Starting a sale and closing a sale.
• Responding to calls. 
• Carrying luggage from suppliers. 
• Record-keeping of invoices and price lists. 
• Organizing products on shelves.
• Cleaning/wiping products and shelves daily.
• Making the delivery of products to clients. 
• Creating quotations. 
• Cleaning every space of the shop (spotless).
• Giving the best advice to clients on the best products preferred for use. 
• Giving the best advice to farmers.
• Entitled to a daily report concerning sales at the firm.
• maintaining the clients within the company.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS 

• BSc degree or diploma certificate in agronomy. 
• Agrochemicals and seeds knowledge. 
• Fumigation/pest control & farming knowledge. 
• Organized.
• Honest. 
• Trustworthy.
• Respectful.
• Hardworking.
• Can work under pressure.
• Can work under no supervision.
• Time conscious.
• Great at personal relations. 
• Dress decently. 
• Respect workspace.
• Personal etiquette.
• Personal attribute.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate Diploma or BSc degree in agronomy-related courses.
• Previous experience from working at an agro vet for at least 2 years. 
• Residing within the Nairobi metropolitan
• Fluent in (English, Kiswahili) communication, and writing skills

STARTING SALARY

10,000/-  PM

The post is more of a learning internship opportunity for the person who is willing to learn and gain skills in the field of Agrochemicals.
