Marketing Intern

Overall, the Job Purpose

Coordinating the marketing activities of the organization. To develop the marketing strategy of Organix and ensure execution, monitoring performance, and reaching new customers.

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager

Direct reports: None

Key Responsibilities 

• Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market

• Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals

• Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data to draft reports 

• Implementing new marketing plans and advertising

• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

• Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage and availability of Organix products in the market, and competitor activities, and look for new business opportunities to safeguard the customer base and increase market share.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing and sales

Professional Qualifications 

• Certificate in sales and/ or marketing

Other requirements (unique/job specific)

• Ability to use social media for marketing

• Ability to write marketing emails for mailshots
