Medical representative for both Mombasa and Nairobi regions.
See below requirements for a Pharmaceutical - Medical Representative Vacancy:
The Ideal candidates should have marketing skills and high practice on sciences.
Purpose:
Promoting Pharmaceutical products sales through effective interaction with health care professionals, hospitals, clinics, institutions and other healthcare service providers to increase the awareness and use of the company’s products.
Responsibilities:
Shall include but not limited to:
1. Making calls and presentations to doctors, practice staff, nurses and pharmacists in the retail sector.
2. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with pharmaceutical medical staff and supporting administrative staff.
3. Giving market research feedback to the company.
4. Keeping detailed records of all contacts, maintaining an updated database of all clients.
5. Reaching (and if possible exceeding) monthly and annual sales targets.
6. Planning work schedules, weekly and monthly planners. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the managers.
7. Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company interpreting,
presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
9. Identifying opportunities for new business by contacting potential clients, researching their needs, and presenting solutions.
10. Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products participating to get more shares of business in the market.
11. Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the pharmaceutical sector, anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly.
12. Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the Pharmaceutical medical and healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology/Biochemistry).
2. MS Office proficiency.
3. Fresh candidate or max Two years’ experienced in Pharmaceutical industry, preferably be an outgoing person.
4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
