Production Technician II

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plant safe and efficient monitoring and operation of topside facility. Analyzing operating parameters for any fault and report to the production supervisor promptly. Follow-up and carry-out correct and proper action.
• Responsible in starting and shutting done process system, equipment and utility systems per the standard operating procedures and checklist in a safe manner. Ensure safe and efficient operation of topside facility.
• Ensure personal safety and work ethics on high caliber.
• Key responsibilities cover Carryout Preventative Production and repair work, shutdowns, isolations and planned Production in accordance with the CMMS ensuring.
• Carry out planned preventative and remedial Production maintenance as described in Maintenance management system work instructions. These includes, filter replacement, LO change and top-up, cleaning of topside modules and equipment. Carry-out minor repairs and defects in the process topside.
• Executes weekly monitoring checks on safety and production critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in Production management systems
• Carries out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all vessel equipment, machines and ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly. Ensure critical spares are available and any discrepancy are addressed
• Completes and maintains all documentation associated with Production engineering as required for all Production operational work activities. Ensure record keeping and logbook are maintained very shift.
• Provides Engineering Production support to achieve and maintain the technical and performance integrity of the FPSO Facility.
• Complete all work activities in accordance with the Facility standards, Facility Management procedures and specifications.
• Provide a relieving cover for the senior production tech.
• Familiarize self in process control room operation and routines
• Responsible for weekly monitoring checks on safety and production critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in Production management systems
• Complete all work activities in accordance with the Facility standards, Facility Management procedures and specifications
• Relieves Control Room Operator when needed and also act as Senior Production Technician and or Supervisor when required. Mentor Production operator and Production technician I.

Qualification & Requirement:

• BSc./ B. Tech in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years or more experience of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities or industrial processing
• Ability to utilize interpersonal skills in resolving issues
• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ Hydrocarbon Processing Level 2 or similar qualification level.
• Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment
