Duties: The Project Manager -Construction Provides Strategic And Technical Leadership Across All Construction Projects To Ensure Safe, Timely, Cost-Effective, And Quality Delivery.   • Requirements: 

    • Bachelors Degree In Civil Engineering (Mandatory). 
    • Registered Professional Engineer With The Engineering Registration Board (Erb) In Kenya (Mandatory). 
    • Certification In Project Management (E.G., Pmp) Or Construction Management. 
    • Familiarity With Bim Tools And Digital Construction Technologies). 
    • Excellent Understanding Of Construction Contracts, Project Lifecycle, And Compliance Requirements. 
    • Skilled In Risk Management, Budgeting, And Cost Control. Proficiency In Autocad, Ms Project/Primavera, And Digital Project Management Tools.

Experience: 

    • Minimum Of 3 To 5 Years Of Experience In Construction Project Supervision, Preferably On The Developer/Client Side. 
    • Proven Experience In Coordinating Multiple Contractors And Managing Large-Scale Projects.

Duties

  • Establish And Maintain Engineering Standards, Construction Methodologies, And Technical Procedures (Incl. Method Statements And Itps). 
        • Takes A Primary Seat To Ensure Projects Are Well Planned An Coordinated Across All Design Department, Qs Department, Procurement Department And Finance Department.
        • Review And Sign Off On Key Design Deliverables, Shop Drawings, Rfis, And Value Engineering Proposals Before Final Implementation Within Adequate Time. 
        • Ensure Constructability Reviews, Clash Detection, And Temporary Works Designs Are Completed And Approved. 
        • Ensure Early Adherence And Planning On Electrical Drawing And Boq Implementation To Avoid Delay. 
        • Taking A Lead Charge To Guide And Control Electrical Team Part To Ensure Project Timelines Are Overall Met. 
        • Drive Adherence To Baseline Schedule, Budget, And Scope; Provide Early Warnings And Recovery Plans. 
      • Standardize Work Breakdown Structures (Wbs), Progress Measurement, And Earned Value Methods With Pmo As Well As Planning. 
      • Oversee Testing And Commissioning Plans And Handover Documentation. 
      • Provide Biweekly Reports On Project Status Vs Timeline And To Close Any Bottle Neck Raised From Contractor. 
      • Own The Quality Management Plan; Ensure Zero Critical Nonconformities Apart Form The Work That Will Be Performed By Qs, The Team Should Act As First Line Of Quality Check. 
      • Monitor Workmanship, Material Approvals, And Various Other Checks Like Cube Test, And To Ensure We Have A File On The Same. 
      • Champion A Zero Harm Culture; Ensure Risk Assessments, And Toolbox Talks Are Effective.
      • Ensure Legal Compliance, Incident Investigations, And Corrective Actions Closure. 
      • Lead Technical Meetings With Clients, Consultants, Authorities; Expedite approvals And Inspections. 
      • Coordinate With Procurement, Planning, And Finance To Align Technical Needs With Budget And Schedule To Avoid Delay. 
      • Coordinate With Qs Team And Design Team So As To Meet Project Timelines. 
      • Manage Contractor On Payments, Quality Work And Issues During The Work To Meet Timelines. 
      • Build Engineering Capability: Competency Frameworks, Coaching, And Training (Incl. Safety And Quality). 
      • Resource Forecasting And Allocation Across Projects Quarterly Assessment Of Staff And Ensuring All Staff Have Their Respective Jd And Kpis.
