Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities Operations: Supervise daily opening/closing procedures, kitchen workflow, and front-of-house service in alignment with mall operating hours.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a high-performing team of cashiers, cooks, and cleaning staff.Delivery & Logistics: Oversee order fulfillment for food delivery apps (e.g., Glovo, Uber Eats, Bolt Food) and manage rider logistics within mall access points.Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food presentation, taste uniformity, and fast-food speed-of-service.Financials: Manage cash registers, daily sales reports, petty cash, and restaurant labor costs.Stock & Inventory: Monitor food stock levels, minimize wastage, and coordinate with local supplier networks.Compliance & Relations: Liaise with BBS Mall management and enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, public health regulations, and food handling safety codes.Customer Service: Resolve guest complaints quickly and maintain a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or Business Administration.Experience: 2–5 years of management experience in a busy fast-food chain, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), or mall-based dining setup in Nairobi.Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, inventory management, and problem-solving abilities.Tech: Tech-savvy with experience using modern Point of Sale (POS) systems and food delivery aggregator tablets.Certifications: Valid medical food handler's certificate required.
