Company Background
Our client is a leading national distributor of food and beverage products serving hotels, restaurants, catering establishments, institutions, and retail outlets across Kenya.
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Representative with proven experience in the HORECA segment to drive business growth and capture new customers in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement a clear sales plan to expand the company’s customer base in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties.
· Proactively identify, visit, and onboard new customers across multiple segments.
· Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, including a minimum monthly sales target of Kshs 1,000,000.
· Conduct regular market intelligence to monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales performance, and pipeline activity.
· Work closely with the Nairobi Sales Supervisor to pursue leads and convert new opportunities.
Candidate Profile
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven field sales experience in HORECA and FMCG industries.
· Confident and persuasive communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently to achieve set targets.
· Professional appearance and strong interpersonal presentation.
· Valid driving licence (essential).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel for reporting and data tracking.
Remuneration & Benefits
· Salary: Kshs 30,000 – 35,000 (based on experience and performance).
· Transport: Company vehicle available most of the time.
· Commission: Attractive commission for sales exceeding the minimum monthly target.
· Contract: 1-year renewable based on performance.
