We seek a professional, enthusiastic, and well-qualified female Mathematics & Science Teacher to join our iLower Secondary.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver effective classroom instruction in Mathematics and Science for iLower Secondary levels.
• Apply diverse instructional strategies, including practical investigations and scientific demonstrations.
• Assess learner performance using formative and summative methods, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain and utilise laboratory resources safely and appropriately.
• Monitor student progress and provide pastoral support when assigned as a form/class tutor.
• Support the development and review of departmental schemes of work, assessments, and curriculum materials.
• Integrate ICT tools effectively to support teaching and learning.
• Communicate professionally with students, and colleagues regarding academic progress and behavioural matters.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
• Mandatory: Valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration.
• Education:
o Minimum Degree in Education (Science) specialising in Mathematics and/or Sciences;
o Bachelor of Education (Science) or relevant degree strongly preferred.
• Experience: At least two (2) years teaching Mathematics and Science at secondary level.
Experience preparing learners for Checkpoint or other international assessments is a significant advantage.
• Skills and Competencies:
o Strong content mastery in Mathematics and Science subjects.
o Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
o Effective classroom management and learner engagement techniques.
o Strong ICT integration skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively within a department.
o Experience working with multilingual or non-native English-speaking students is an added asset.
