Job summary
The Entrepreneurship and possibly ICT Trainer (as stand-in) at Ujima Foundation is responsible for equipping youth and emerging entrepreneurs with practical business and digital skills that enhance employability, innovation, and enterprise development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Facilitation
- Deliver structured training in entrepreneurship, business development, and ICT skills for self employment.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual learning sessions (blended learning) using participatory and practical approaches.
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools aligned with program objectives.
2. Curriculum Development
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of entrepreneurship and ICT training curricula.
- Integrate emerging digital tools, market trends, and innovative practices into training content.
3. Mentorship & Coaching
- Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to trainees on business idea development and digital adoption.
- Support trainees in business planning, financial literacy, marketing, and use of technology in business.
4. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Track trainee progress and maintain accurate training records.
- Support data collection, reporting, and evaluation of training outcomes.
- Provide feedback to improve program effectiveness.
5. Industry Linkages & Partnerships
- Facilitate connections between trainees and relevant industry players, mentors, and opportunities.
- Support job placement, internships, or business incubation initiatives.
6. Administrative Duties
- Prepare training reports and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and organizational activities.
Job RequirementsEducation
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, ICT, Education, or a related field.
- A certification in training (e.g., TVET Trainer certification) is an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 2–4 years of experience in training or facilitation in entrepreneurship - only apply if you have experience in training entrepreneurship classes.
- Experience working with youth, startups, or community-based programs is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of entrepreneurship, business development, and SME operations.
- Proficiency in ICT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, digital marketing tools, basic coding or web tools is an advantage).
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training methodologies (blended learning)

Other Requirements
