Job summary
<p>The trainer is responsible for equipping youth and emerging entrepreneurs with practical business and digital skills that enhance employability and enterprise development. The role focuses on delivering high-quality training in entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and ICT applications, while mentoring trainees to start, manage, and grow businesses.</p>

Job RequirementsEducation
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, ICT, Education, or a related field.
- A certification in training (e.g., TVET Trainer certification) is an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 1–3 years of experience in training or facilitation in entrepreneurship and/or ICT.
- Experience working with youth, startups, or community-based programs is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of entrepreneurship, business development, and SME operations.
- Proficiency in ICT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, digital marketing tools, basic coding or web tools is an advantage).
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training methodologies.(blended learning)

- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and mentorship abilities.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for youth empowerment and community development.
Other Requirements
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Adaptability and creativity in delivering training.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for fieldwork (if required)
