Engage in strategic mineral prospecting, mining, and any other activities related strategic minerals; b. Engage in mineral prospecting and mining, and any other related activities; c. Invest on behalf of the national government; d. Acquire by agreement or hold interests in any undertaking, enterprise or project associated with the exploration, prospecting and mining; e. Acquire shares or interest in any firm, company or other body of persons, whether corporate or unincorporated, which is engaged in the mining, prospecting, refining, grading, producing, cutting, processing, buying, selling or marketing of minerals; and f. Carry on its business, operations and activities whether as a principal-agent, contractor or otherwise, and either alone or in conjunction with any other persons, firms or bodies corporate.Advert RefADVERT NO. NMC /23Duties and Responsibilities will entail: Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market.Analysing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.Implementing new sales plans and advertising.Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities. Job SpecificationFor appointment to this cadre, an officer must have: – A bachelor’s degree in marketing, commerce, business administration, or related field.At least 4 years’ experience in marketing or sales.Experience in management may be advantageous.Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.Supervisory course lasting not less than two weeks from a recognized institution;Proficiency in computer applications;Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.
