We are able to advise on market trends, training requirements, prevailing salaries and offer a complete HR Solution where necessary.Key Requirements: Review and maintenance of the Company’s Postharvest Audit.Develop and Review the Company’s Technical Policies, Supplier Quality Assurance Manual & SOPs.Lead Technical relationships with regional customers where required.Develop grower auditing schedule based on risk assessment.Manage technical approval of new growers.Review industry certifications for all our growers.Coordinate growers visit schedule with other technical managers.Ensure grower visit reports are completed and submitted to GM.Maintain grower KPI report and review process.Develop Quality Improvement plans with key growers.Identification of new growers and varieties.Ensure the company’s specifications are implemented.Report the regional technical budget data to the relevant commercial manager.Ensure all quality and technical related matters are reported to the relevant region commercial manager.Drive improvement in all areas of handling and cold chain.Packaging – Oversight with specific focus on optimising transit solutions and profitability.Maintenance and development of Greenlight / Muddy BootsCreate, implement and manage technical KPIs for quality team.Management and coaching of direct reports.Safety and Health lead coach.Manage all office equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance through scheduled maintenance, training of operators, safe storage when not in use.Create, maintain & update technical QC inspection duty roster. Qualifications Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or related field.ISO : Lead Auditor’s qualification.Ability to analyze data, create and review processes.Minimum of 5 years of floriculture experience in a similar role.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in team management.Excellent communication skills.Experience working and communicating directly with customers will be beneficial.Experience with managing a budget will be beneficial.Experience with relevant certification standards (Global GAP, KFC, Fairtrade, BOPP)Experience with customer specification systems (Muddyboots/ Greenlight QC) will be beneficial.Attention to details.Clean driving license.
