About the company
We are a dynamic start-up in the renewable energy sector developing both on-grid and off-grid renewable energy projects. Our mission is to provide reliable, affordable and sustainable access to energy in regions that do not have this today.
We use an innovative solution that relies on the most efficient, affordable and sustainable source of energy: hydropower. We harvest the power of running water and then transform it into electricity that is supplied to the national grid or distributed directly to households and businesses.
We develop small hydro projects from A to Z meaning we identify suitable locations, assess the technical & economic feasibility, we then design, finance & build the power plants and remain involved in the maintenance & operations once the plant is operational.
Job Summary:
As part of our continued growth in Kenya and the EAC region, we are looking for a Part-time Social
Media Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns, designing marketing materials, and optimizing our online presence through SEO. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and have experience in using Canva and other graphic design tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Create visually appealing marketing materials using Canva and other graphic design tools
- Optimize our website and online presence through SEO.
- Monitor and analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies that align with company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and design.
- Social media management (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and production of content in collaboration with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Very motivated to learn about the technical details.
- Proficiency in Canva and other graphic design tools.
- Experience with SEO and Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and proactively.
- Availability to work twice a week in our Nairobi office.
- Attach your portfolio & significant articles you have managed in the past to showcase your skills.
