Job Description

The Technical Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support, diagnosing technical issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and electronic systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
• Install, configure, test, and commission technical equipment and systems.
• Analyze technical faults and implement effective corrective solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system performance checks.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates.
• Support engineering projects from planning through implementation.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients on technical matters.
• Keep updated with emerging technologies and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum experience in technical engineering, electrical systems, electronics, automation, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, electronic systems, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools is an added advantage.
• Professional certification or registration with relevant engineering bodies is an added advantage.
