Our client is one of the leading motorcycle dealers in Kenya, seeking to hire a Technical Service. The core purpose of this position is give guidance and on service to dealers and sub dealers by collecting service related information and providing dealers with repair information, The position will also involves scouting for potential road side mechanics by monitoring the service capability of dealers and sub dealers taking into consideration to company’s service standards and health and safety requirements. The position will require an eye for service quality and the quality of of the company’s products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to technicians, dealer staff, and end-user customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with Honda and dealers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule and complete assigned tasks within established time frames and performance standards.
  • Provide remedial maintenance and respond promptly to customer service requests to minimize downtime.
  • Deliver warranty services and ensure full adherence to warranty and service contract guidelines.
  • Evaluate dealer technicians’ work to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Scan and archive documents in the database to maintain accurate company records.
  • Conduct visits to dealers, sub-dealers, and roadside mechanics to monitor service standards and recommend improvements.
  • Provide product knowledge and service information to dealers.
  • Collect product and service quality-related information and share relevant repair guidance with dealers.
  • Monitor and review the service capability of each dealer and recommend improvements.
  • Approve warranty claims at dealer shops.
  • Conduct service campaigns and promotional activities to increase awareness and improve service action familiarization.
  • Provide guidance on customer service management.
  • Scout and identify capable, quality-conscious roadside mechanics for potential engagement.
  • Train HMK instructors and instructors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of motorcycle Business
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience in service / mechanic work
  • 3-4 years’ experience working in the automobile industry
  • Ability to troubleshoot and mobilize
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Reliable, honest and be a person of high integrity
  • Should have good Supervisory and analytical skills.
  • Able to train on service quality matters
  • Minimum of a diploma in automobile engineering or any other related course
  • Should have selling skills, those with experience in sales have a higher advantage.
  • Candidates above Age; 25 years and above encouraged to apply
