Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Market Expansion
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with business development targets.
- Conduct continuous market research to assess opportunities, competitor activity, and sector trends.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management on market developments.
Sales Execution & Deal Support
- Support full sales lifecycle activities including prospecting, scheduling meetings, pitching, and follow-ups.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial documents to support deal closure.
- Facilitate introductions and meetings with key stakeholders across targeted sectors.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients across private, public, and development sectors.
- Respond to client queries promptly and ensure high-quality client experience.
- Leverage personal networks and industry relationships to drive opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Client Insights
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of suspects, prospects, and active clients.
- Track the business community and ensure updated profiling of all relevant organizations and stakeholders.
- Disseminate ASIGMA’s content and solutions, creating opportunities for presentations and engagements.
Networking & Brand Visibility
- Assist in coordinating company participation in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
- Maintain an events calendar and support the organization of client-focused engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Second Class or above) in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or client management.
- Strong background in B2B and B2B2C business development.
- Proven negotiation, relationship management, and customer acquisition skills.
- Existing strong networks in the private, public, and development sectors is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information.
