Content Creator & Videographer (TikTok + YouTube Specialist) Intern

What You’ll Do Every Day

• Shoot and edit short, addictive videos for TikTok and longer ones for YouTube.
• Come up with fresh, funny, relatable ideas that make people stop scrolling.
• Go out on the streets, estates, matatus, markets, campuses anywhere to film real, energetic content (you’re not scared of crowds or sudden rain!).
• Plan and follow a monthly content calendar that matches our marketing goals.
• Make sure every video follows TikTok and YouTube advertising rules for financial/loan products.
• Track which videos perform best and keep improving.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Proven experience creating viral or high-performing videos (show us your TikTok/YouTube/Reels with real numbers, views, likes, downloads).
• Excellent shooting skills with phone or camera (smooth footage, good lighting, clear sound even in noisy places).
• Fast and clean editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, whatever you use, your edits must look professional).
• Deep understanding of TikTok trends, hooks, sounds, and YouTube algorithms in Kenya.
• Know (or willing to learn fast) the exact advertising rules for loan apps on TikTok and YouTube.
• Ability to create and manage a simple content calendar.

Personality We Need

• Super creative and full of ideas.
• Bold. You’re not shy to approach people, dance in public, or try crazy concepts.
• Reliable. You show up on time and deliver videos when promised.
• Team player but can also work alone on the street.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years creating content for brands or your own pages (personal pages with big followings and high engagement are welcome).
• Strong portfolio/reel of videos you shot and edited yourself.
• Excellent spoken and written English + Swahili (Sheng is a bonus).

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in finance, lending, or fintech content.
• Grown a TikTok/YouTube channel past 50K–100K followers.
• Worked with other Kenyan brands or loan apps before.
