Job Purpose:
We're seeking a creative, data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead our growth initiatives across multiple channels. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can navigate the fast-paced world of social media, paid advertising, content creation, and community building while driving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities shall include:
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
● Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns through Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram ads)
● Manage Google Search Ads campaigns with a focus on conversion optimization and cost-per-acquisition targets
● Monitor campaign performance daily, conducting A/B tests to improve ad creative, targeting, and landing page conversion rates
● Allocate marketing budget efficiently across channels based on performance data and ROI analysis
Social Media Management & Content Marketing
● Develop and execute social media strategies across Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
● Create engaging organic content that resonates with Kenyan audiences, incorporating cultural insights and trending topics
● Lead our AI influencer strategy by developing AI personalities and growing their channels to promote JamboBet organically
● Manage content calendars, ensuring consistent posting schedules and brand voice across all platforms
● Engage with community members, respond to comments, and build authentic relationships with our audience
SEO & Content Strategy
● Implement SEO best practices across website content and blog articles
● Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
● Collaborate with content writers to produce 8-10 SEO-optimized blog articles monthly
● Monitor website performance through Google Analytics and Google Search Console
● Build backlink strategies and partnerships to improve domain authority
Partnership Marketing
● Support the JamboBet affiliate program with marketing materials, training content, and promotional campaigns
● Develop creative assets and messaging for venue partnership programs
● Understand and implement influencer marketing techniques to expand brand reach
● Design and execute cash reward-based referral program campaigns
Below-the-Line Marketing
● Participate in on-the-ground product activations at universities, venues, and community events
● Coordinate experiential marketing initiatives that create memorable brand experiences '
● Work with venue partners to develop localized promotional materials and QR code campaigns
● Conduct field research to understand customer behavior and market dynamics Analytics & Reporting
● Track and report on key performance indicators including user acquisition, engagement rates, and conversion metrics
● Provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights and optimization recommendations
● Use data to inform creative decisions and budget allocation
● Maintain dashboards in Google Analytics for real-time performance monitoring Cross-Functional Collaboration & Planning
● Work closely with design, content creation, risk management, and operations teams to execute campaigns
● Document marketing processes, strategies, and campaign workflows for team alignment
● Write detailed marketing plans with clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics
● Review and iterate on marketing plans based on performance data and team feedback
● Communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth campaign execution
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills
● 2-3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, preferably in the gaming, entertainment, or tech sectors
● Proven track record managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms and Google Ads
● Strong social media marketing experience with demonstrable results on Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
● Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with at least one major SEO tool (Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz)
● Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
● Understanding of affiliate marketing models and referral program mechanics
● Knowledge of influencer marketing strategies and campaign execution
● Experience with below-the-line marketing and field activations
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Swahili proficiency is a strong advantage
Nice to Have
● Copywriting experience with ability to craft compelling ad copy and social media content
● Graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma
● Experience with AI content creation tools and automated content workflows
● Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms
● Video editing capabilities for TikTok and Instagram Reels
● Experience in the Kenyan market or betting/gaming industry

What We Offer
● Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) that grows with improving performance metrics. This role attracts a gross monthly salary of Ks. 80,000 – Ks. 120,000
