The trainer will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical lessons in electrical installation, maintenance, and electronics systems.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons on electrical installation, electronics, and related technical areas.

Conduct hands-on practical sessions, guiding students in wiring, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting.

Ensure all training activities are conducted safely and align with current technical standards.

Assess student progress through assignments, practical evaluations, and examinations.

Maintain and manage electrical tools, training equipment, and workshop safety standards.

Prepare and update training materials to reflect modern technology and practices.

Support students during projects, innovations, and technical assessments.

Collaborate with the academic team to ensure curriculum relevance and quality delivery.

Maintain accurate attendance, performance, and assessment records.

Mentor students and prepare them for industry attachment and certification.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.

KSTVET Certification or equivalent qualification (added advantage).

Diploma in Pedagogy or Technical Education is an added advantage.

Proven experience in teaching or training electrical/electronics students.

Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.

Excellent communication, class management, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to integrate modern training technology and simulation tools.
