We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Waiter to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure excellent service standards, and lead our service team to deliver memorable customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of wait staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Greet and attend to guests, handle special requests, and resolve any service issues professionally.
• Oversee table settings, cleanliness, and presentation of the dining area.
• Train, guide, and motivate service staff to maintain high performance and professionalism.
• Assist in planning staff schedules and managing shift rotations effectively.
• Support the restaurant manager in ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient order flow and accurate food service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle feedback to ensure continual improvement in service quality.
• Maintain strong product knowledge including menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Assist with billing procedures and cash handling when required.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in all restaurant areas.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter in a busy restaurant environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and food & beverage handling.
• Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexible to work during weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
• Should be of KCSE educational level with Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in training and supervising service staff.
• Familiarity with fine dining or high-volume restaurant service.
• Good understanding of wine and beverage service.
