To manage and maintain employee data and the payroll processing of the organization.

Job Description/Requirements

Key responsibilities
•    Verification of payroll data from departments against time sheets
•    Processing payroll within the set timelines
•    Preparing and issuance of individual staff documents following promotions, salary reviews etc
•    Updating the payroll system following salary changes, salary advances, deductions etc
•    Updating staff files
•    Monthly payroll analytics eg staff turnover reports, payroll analysis, leave analysis etc
•    Responding to pay queries as required
•    Payroll reports – monthly statutory reports, annual P9 preparation and distribution
•    Resolve payroll discrepancies after analysing information
•    Ensure that the company is compliant to all laws that relate to payroll processing
•    Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities
•    Optimizing and implementing (new) data processes and systems
•    Keep proper records of all payroll reports and data for future reference

Educational Requirements
Undergraduate in Human Resources (or any other relevant course)

Related Job Experience/Qualifications
a.    HR Practitioner or other relevant position – (minimum 2 years) – must have worked in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

e.    Ability to use computerised payroll systems
f.    Action and results oriented
g.    Knowledge of tax laws in the countries we operate in (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda)
