Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in monitoring suppliers’ costs, marketing expenses, and cost allocation processes.
  • Send statements and account reconciliations to clients.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
  • Conduct daily payment follow-up calls and email reminders in line with assigned targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and collection activities.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and secure payment from clients.
  • Escalate long-outstanding accounts to the Finance Manager where necessary.
  • Assist in updating accounts receivable reports and aging schedules.
  • Prepare daily and weekly collection status reports.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.
  • Support bank reconciliations and other basic finance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
  • Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least CPA Intermediate level or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ability to professionally handle outboard calls to customers and email correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
