IoT SALES SPECIALIST
Our client is hiring an IoT Sales Specialist* to support their growing IoT technology solutions in Kenya.
The role involves driving market expansion, engaging key clients, and promoting smart water metering technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion and Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new IoT business opportunities in Industrial, Residential, and Commercial markets.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Engage key account customers/resellers, large and small water abstractors, property developers, utilities, and institutions to present and promote smart utility management solutions.
3. Sales Execution
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
4. Product Knowledge & Education
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations. Provide feedback to the tech team based on customer insights.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementationand after-sales support.
Requirements
* Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or related field
* 1+ year experience in B2B/B2C sales (tech/water/utilities preferred)
* Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
* Strong communication & negotiation skills
* Willingness to travel
* Self-driven, tech-savvy & goal oriented
