We are looking for a creative and knowledgeable Lecturer in Fashion Design to inspire and educate our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various aspects of fashion design, including design principles, textiles, pattern making, and fashion history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in fashion design, garment construction, and textiles.
- Guide students through the creation of their own fashion collections.
- Keep abreast of current trends and developments in the fashion industry.
- Assess student work through projects, presentations, and exams.
- Provide mentorship and career advice to students.
- Contribute to the development of the fashion design curriculum.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
- Maintain student records, including grades and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
