DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching & Learning:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons according to the CBC guidelines.
- Design engaging, interactive, and child-centered learning experiences.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.
Assessment & Learner Development:
- Manage learner portfolios and maintain detailed records of progress.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor learner achievement.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate interventions.
Curriculum & Resource Development:
- Develop and prepare teaching materials, learning aids, and resources aligned with the CBC.
- Continuously update knowledge of teaching strategies and curriculum requirements.
Mentoring & Collaboration:
- Mentor and support learners in personal, social, and academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to enhance student learning outcomes.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Education (DE) from a recognized institution.
- 1–2 years of experience teaching under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.
- Strong knowledge of child development, classroom management, and assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and child development.
- Creativity in lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to nurture core competencies: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.
- Organizational skills for managing learner portfolios and assessments.
