Roles and Responsibilities
- Loan Origination: Interview applicants, analyze financial documents, evaluate creditworthiness, and verify information to approve or decline loan applications within company guidelines.
- Repayment Management: Monitor loan portfolios, send payment reminders, and follow up with customers regarding upcoming or overdue payments via phone calls, SMS, or emails.
- Collections & Recovery: Proactively engage with clients to recover overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans or restructuring options for clients experiencing financial difficulties.
- Account Maintenance: Update customer records, accurately record payment transactions, and maintain data confidentiality.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection progress, portfolio quality, and non-performing loans.
- Compliance: Adhere to all internal lending policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Central Bank regulations or microfinance laws).
