Mechanical Technician – Diesel Engines & Power Generation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and power generation equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults on diesel-powered machinery and generators.
• Carry out major and minor engine overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements.
• Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with diesel engines and associated mechanical systems.
• Demonstrable experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators.
• Ability to independently perform complete engine overhauls and major mechanical repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and workshop procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
