Reports To: Commercial Manager
Job Purpose
To drive sales growth within modern trade channels (supermarkets, retail chains, and key accounts) by managing relationships, ensuring product availability, and executing trade strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with modern trade clients (e.g., supermarkets, distributors, large retail chains).
- Achieve sales targets, volume, and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
- Ensure consistent product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising across outlets.
- Negotiate listings, shelf space, pricing, and promotional activities with key accounts.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends within the packaging industry.
- Coordinate order processing, deliveries, and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of products.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements.

- Collection efficiency / debtor days
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 2–5 years’ experience in modern trade or key account management (FMCG or packaging preferred)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Good understanding of retail operations and distribution channels
