We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Buyer to join our purchasing team. As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the Head of Sourcing and Product Development in sourcing and purchasing goods and ensuring that our company is able to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist with the sourcing and purchasing of goods for the company
•    Support the negotiation with suppliers to ensure the best prices and terms.
•    Keep internal system product details up to date, for example prices, lead-times, MOQ etc.
•    Manage the Critical Path for NPD.
•    Monitor market trends and analyse data to identify potential new suppliers
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
•    Work closely with other departments to ensure that purchasing activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy

Qualifications:
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing or a related field
•    Strong negotiation and communication skills
•    Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
•    Ability to work independently and in a multi-national team-oriented environment.
•    Knowledge of Outdoor and Indoor Furniture and/or Home Interiors would be an advantage.
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
•    Experience with procurement systems and software is a plus
