Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team in Nairobi, overseeing all sales accounts, key accounts, customer management, and sales strategy.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the activation and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and support to team members to enhance productivity.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall business goals.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a sales role, preferably in the wine or alcohol industry.
- Experience with HORECA
- Key account management and vendor management experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
