Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team in Nairobi, overseeing all sales accounts, key accounts, customer management, and sales strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the activation and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and support to team members to enhance productivity.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a sales role, preferably in the wine or alcohol industry.
  • Experience with HORECA
  • Key account management and vendor management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
