Job Description
The Relationship Officer will drive loan growth and maintain a healthy portfolio for the Westlands Branch. You’ll be responsible for sourcing new clients, conducting thorough business vetting, preparing loan assessment reports, and following up on daily repayments. Your performance will be measured by your ability to consistently achieve a KES 3,000,000 monthly sales target and maintain PAR30 at acceptable levels.
This role demands discipline, strong field presence, excellent customer service, and the ability to build trust with clients while upholding Tundar Capital’s standards and credit policies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in microfinance, credit, or sales is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to meet targets (3M monthly sales target).
- Solid understanding of portfolio management and PAR metrics (especially PAR30).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Confident, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
- Ready and willing to do fieldwork daily.
- Familiarity with Westlands and surrounding business areas is a plus.
- Basic computer skills; ability to use an ERP system.
