Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Business Development & Sales Execution
• Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calls, field visits,
referrals, digital outreach, and networking
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and tailored pitches
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and structured presentations for clients
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close profitable deals
• Consistently meet individual and team sales targets

Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell
opportunities
• Respond to customer inquiries, issues, and escalations in collaboration with
internal teams
3.
Market Intelligence & Strategy Support
• Gather insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends
• Provide feedback to support product development, pricing, and marketing
initiatives
• Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and market activations
4.
Reporting, Documentation & CRM Management
• Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline updates in Zoho CRM
• Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs
• Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and documentation standards
Additional Responsibilities:
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, product activations, and promotional events
• Support client onboarding in coordination with operations and technical teams
• Assist the Sales Manager with pipeline reviews and strategy refinement
• Conduct market field visits across Kenya to identify growth opportunities
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in telecommunications, VoIP, ICT, or technology solutions.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with VoIP, telecom, or ICT solutions is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Zoho CRM or similar CRM platforms.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong in documentation.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and market development.
