Sales Executive – Roof Insulation Films (ATHI-RIVER)
Job summary
Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell roof insulation films for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and develop potential clients including property owners, facility managers, contractors, and architects
- Present product advantages (insulation, UV protection, energy saving) and prepare tailored solutions and quotations
- Close sales and ensure smooth order processing, installation arrangements, and post-installation support
- Coordinate site surveys and maintain accurate customer records
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities; provide feedback for product development and pricing strategies
- Support marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and on-site technical briefings
- High school diploma or higher (preference for candidates with background in building materials, construction, roofing, or related sales)
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; advantage for those with experience or contacts in roofing, insulation, or window/film industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented, able to work under pressure, and meet targets
- Basic technical knowledge of roofing systems and thermal management solutions, or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel within Nairobi for client visits and site assessments
- Ability to develop potential clients, conduct research, and close B2B/B2C sales
- Understanding (or trainability) of product performance: solar reflectivity, thermal emissivity, durability, and installation practices
- Self-motivated, organized, team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Basic salary: 20,000 KES
- Transportation allowance: 5,000 KES
- Phone allowance: 1,500 KES
- Commission: 3% of sales amount (main income driver)
