- Sell and deliver FMCG products to retail outlets and customers along assigned routes.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Identify new customers and expand the client base within the assigned area.
- Plan and follow efficient sales routes to maximize coverage and sales.
- Maintain proper route schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business.
- Manage van stock effectively, ensuring accurate loading and offloading of goods.
- Keep proper records of stock movement, sales, and returns.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Collect payments and ensure proper accountability of cash and receipts.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily reports.
- Reconcile sales and cash at the end of each day.
- Minimum KCSE certificate.
- At least 1 year of experience as a sales representative in FMCG products.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with Dandora and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
