Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose: To oversee and manage all warehouse operations ensuring effective storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Must-Have: Minimum Requirements to be considered- these minimum requirements must be evident on your resume.
Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager in warehouse operations, preferably within a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment.
3. Demonstrate a good understanding in warehouse management procedures and best practices
4. Strong understanding of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals.
5. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
6. Proficient Knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
7. Valid driving license
8. Proficient computer skills: MS Office and SAP MRP
9. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for Good Storage Practice (GSP)
2. Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery timelines are met
3. Administering stock control for all warehouses -FG, RM, PM and Spares
4. Ensuring awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
5.Liaising with transporters, Suppliers and clients
6. Being responsible for correct documentation and warehousing records for all warehouses-FG, RM, PM, and spares and for temperature and Humidity Monitoring and Reporting.
7. Being responsible for Warehouse Pest Control
8. Managing Warehouse OPEX budget
9. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipments
10. Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
11. Implementing Operational policies and procedures
12. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
13. Leading warehouse team, Motivating and disciplining staff
14. Training, supervising and appraising staff Ensuring efficient allocation of Staff
Salary: Gross of Ksh 180,000 - 200,00 depending on the qualifications
