Accountant

Key Responsibilities

•  Assist in the preparation of financial reports, tax returns, and reconciliations
•  Perform bookkeeping and handle day-to-day accounting operations
•  Support senior accountants in audits, tax lodgements, and client reporting
•  Work with cloud-based systems like Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure data accuracy and compliance

Who We’re Looking For

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•  CPA qualification (at any level – completed or in progress)
•  Exceptional academic performance with strong analytical and numerical skills
•  Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills
•  Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with cloud accounting tools is an advantage
• Prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus, but not required

2. KCSE Certificate

 Minimum grade required: B+ or above

•  Provide transcripts for each year or semester of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
•  Must show individual unit/subject grades and clearly indicate if any resits were undertaken

4. Degree Certificate (Bachelor or Master’s in Accounting/Finance or related field)

• A scanned copy of your degree award certificate

5. CPA Qualification Evidence

•  Attach your CPA(K) registration number or membership card (if available)
•  Include KASNEB result slips or transcripts for all parts/sections attempted or passed

6. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

• Ensure your CV includes:

•  Academic background (schools, universities, graduation dates)
•  CPA progress (with dates and current level)
•  Internship or job experience (with role, company, duration)
• Technical skills (software, tools, Excel proficiency)
• References (at least one academic or professional)

Gross Salary Range: 30,000 Ksh - 85,000 Ksh
