Accounting Tutor

Duties and responsibilities

• Role of tutor will be to tutor mentioned accounting and business units and also prepare students for international exams like ABE and ACCA.
  
• Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom
• Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions
• Conducting practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement and help set goals for exam preparation
• Offering feedback on progress to students’ parents and teachers where appropriate
• Prepare and facilitate tutoring workshops, collaborative projects, or academic support sessions for small groups of students.
• Participate in training and development sessions to improve tutoring practices or learn new tutoring techniques.
• Schedule tutoring appointments with students or their parents.

Other Requirements

Be willing to work on any shift between 08:30 AM- 1:30 PM and 5:00 to 8:00 PM for Morning and evening classes

Requirements:

• Posses at least CPA (K) or have done ACCA
• BSc in Finance and or accounting option or any accounting degree
• 3 years of experience in teaching Accounting and/ or Finance Subjects.
• IT Knowledge in QuickBooks or any other Accounting software will be an advantage
• Familiarity with MS office is a must
• Subjects the Successful candidate will handle are like: Performance management (Cost accounting), Financial reporting, financial accounting and Management accounting

Salary is Negotiable. Expected salary can be around Ksh. 45,000
