Accounts Associate

We’re looking for an accounting associate to join our team. The accounting associate will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process and post various accounting transactions including AP, AR & Journal entries
• Undertake bank and other related accounting reconciliations
• Support the finance team in implementing new financial systems and processes
• Support VAT & withholding tax filing
• Enforcing the company’s finance and procurement policies
• Support Finance manager with accounting close
• Managing office petty cash and reporting thereof
• Any other duties assigned by the manager

Our ideal candidate would have:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related fields 
• Certified accountant (CPA or ACCA)
• Minimum of 1-year experience working in a busy accounting environment  
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles, especially IFRS requirements
• Experience processing accounting transactions and posting
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, and databases. Additional knowledge of financial software especially Odoo ERP is a plus.
