JOB TITLE: APP ONBOARDING REPS
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
SALARY: KSHS.15,000 PLUS COMMISSIONS -30/= PER OUTLET ONBOARDED
JOB LOCATION: NAIROBI
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily field visits to retail shops within assigned routes in Nairobi
- Identify potential retail partners and pitch the product ordering App
- Clearly explain the App’s value proposition, benefits, and ordering process to shop owners
- Convince retailers to download the App on their smartphones and complete registration
- Assist retailers with App setup, login, and profile completion
- Train retailers on how to browse products, place orders, track deliveries, and make payments using the App
- Ensure first order placement for focus products during or shortly after onboarding
- Follow up with onboarded outlets to drive repeat orders and active App usage
- Troubleshoot basic App issues and escalate technical challenges when necessary
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding and activation targets
- Accurately capture outlet details, onboarding status, and order activity
- Submit daily field activity and performance reports
- Collect market intelligence, competitor activity, and retailer feedback
- Build strong, long-term relationships with retail shop owners
- Represent the company professionally and ethically in the field
KEY REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in field marketing, sales, or app onboarding
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Comfortable working in the field and meeting daily targets
- Basic smartphone literacy (Android apps)
- Ability to train and support retailers on app usage
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of Nairobi retail routes is an added advantage
