IRES offers a comprehensive portfolio of technical training and education services designed for individuals, and organizations working in the agriculture; climate change and environment; disaster management; education; food and nutrition; health; humanitarian relief; logistics and telecommunication; recovery and reconstruction; safety and security; water sanitation and hygiene sectorsThe successful candidate will majorly be responsible for: Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunitiesWorking with executives to implement sales and marketing strategies and new opportunitiesEncouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposalsIdentify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals.Pitching services and Qualifying for opportunities to the appropriate level for further development and closure.Prepare Pre-qualifications, RFP’s, EOI’s and able to understand the scope, profit, risks etc.Contract management for all client engagement Key responsibilities: Identifying potential business opportunities (EOI/RFP) in strict compliance with internal management procedures/guidelines;Drafting and submission of Expression of Interest following company approval proceduresDevelopment of non-technical bid and RFP submission componentsCoordination and oversight of technical bid development and deliveryManagement of procurement timelinesIdentifying and updating online opportunities databaseAssist HR & Admin Manager in identifying suitable consultants for submissionsOrganizing logistics for Pre-qualifications, Expression of Interest, Bids and RFP submissionConducting market research and developing tailored job role and industry domain training programs.Developing corporate sales proposals, pitches for targeted accounts.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas: Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related area.Experience in public procurement, ideally in relation to DFID, World Bank, UN, EU, ADB procurement procedures among others.Certification in Sales and MarketingExperience in contract management.Experience in business development / business intelligence.Knowledge of international organizations/agencies’ and national public procurement regulations and procedures.An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyWell versed with the use of Office, Sales/CRM Applications
