Bilingual Real Estate Translator
Job summary
We hire a full-time Kenya-based bilingual translator with real estate experience. Provide accurate English-Chinese interpretation and translation to support local cross-border property business.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Serve as the full-time bilingual language support for the real estate team, providing instant accurate interpretation and professional written translation for all business scenarios including client negotiations, property viewings, business meetings, project docking, and daily office communication.
- Independently translate and sort out all real estate official documents, including property introduction materials, rental and sales contracts, client files, market research reports, industry policy documents, and business cooperation agreements, unifying professional terminology and standardizing document content.
- Be on full-time duty during working hours, respond to all business translation demands immediately, follow up real-time project progress, and assist the team in solving language communication problems in the whole business process.
- Familiar with Kenya local real estate transaction rules and market characteristics, proofread and optimize translated content to ensure compliance with local industry norms, business etiquette and market actual situation.
- Assist in cross-cultural business communication coordination, bridge the language and information gap between Chinese and local Kenyan clients, improve business negotiation efficiency, and support team sales and project landing.
- Sort out translation archives regularly, summarize industry terminology, and continuously optimize the company’s real estate bilingual translation standard system.
- Permanent resident in Kenya, able to work full-time stably with fixed working hours, no part-time conflict, long-term stable employment intention.
- Native-level fluent in English and Chinese, proficient in bilingual oral interpretation and written translation, accurate logic, rigorous expression, no translation errors or communication obstacles, capable of professional business scenario translation.
- Must have formal working experience in Kenya real estate industry (property sales, property management, real estate business docking, real estate customer service are all acceptable), familiar with local real estate transaction processes, industry terminology, market prices and business rules.
- Familiar with Kenyan local business communication etiquette and cultural customs, excellent on-site emergency response and adaptive ability, able to cope with various complex business translation scenarios.
- Strong sense of responsibility, execution and business confidentiality, careful and rigorous work attitude, able to independently complete full-process translation and document sorting work.
- Basic computer operation skills, proficient in office software, able to efficiently complete document translation, sorting and archiving.
