Job Summary

The billing specialist will provide administrative and clerical services to ensure accuracy, timely and efficiency of billing operations.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years
  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

·       Review and submit claims identified

·       Send patient invoices to clients

·       Continue to post cash for smaller clients to stay up to date on process

·       Assist with cash posting as needed i.e. month end, etc.

·       Work open invoices

·       Print and mail paper claims for all clients

·       Handle the outgoing mail on a daily basis

·       Manually enter claims per appropriate portal

·       Auth Compliance for payer groups within the department

·       Distribution of Held Sales emails

·       Communicate with clients via phone, email, or mail

·       Assist with audits as needed.

·       Other duties as assigned



Education and Experience

·       Accounting or Finance Diploma/Certificate and/or associate’s degree

·       1-3 years of billing experience

·       Knowledge of billing software system

·       Knowledge of office administration and procedures

·       Proficient in relevant computer software

·       Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
