Job summary
We are seeking to recruit business development officers (BDOs) who will play a key role in driving business and implementing direct sales strategies in insurance.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenues and salles targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, SME and retail markets
- Build strong relationships with business, institutions and individuals
- Prepare and present tailored insurance proposals and solutions to clients
- Oversee client onboarding renewals and retention strategies
- Ensure high services standards and resolve client’s escalations effectively
- Strong sales negotiations and presentation skills
- Excellent client relationship and stake holder’s management skills
- Solid understanding of insurance products and regulatory requirements
- Competence in IT skills
- Results driven and proactive
- High integrity and Professionalism
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance sales mainly with brokers |Agents
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing client portfolio
- Bachelor Degree in business, insurance, finance or related field
- Professional insurance certification (e.g. (DIP(IIK) (ACII, CII)
