The hospital is well equiped to offer Oncology, Trauma & Orthopedics, Renal among other services.V/FT/42/Duties and Responsibilities Taking history of the patientConducting both individual and group psychological tests and assessment and providing appropriate therapy.Developing treatment plansIdentifying patients with social psychological problem, providing psycho education to clients, families and caregiversPrescribing intervention and possible referralsTesting the efficacy of both psychological and biological interventions to promote the wellbeing of patientEnsure use of all Hospital’s automated systems, as appropriate, including the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS)Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor in the delivery of care Minimum Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in either Medical Psychology, Health Psychology or any other relevant equivalentqualification in a health-related field from a recognized institution.Registration with relevant professional bodyCertificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or a relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognizedinstitution will be an added advantage.two years relevant working experience.
